Mildred L. Schuh

Mildred Leona Schuh, 97, formerly of Shawano and De Pere, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022, in West Friendship, Maryland. Born on Feb. 3, 1925, in Bonduel, she was the daughter of the late George and Caroline (Christianson) Dingledein. After graduating from high school, Mildred moved to Los Angeles to work as a welder on Liberty ships during World War II. After the war, Mildred moved to Lunds where she met the love of her life. Ronald G. Kalous, 79, of Suring, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022. Ron was born Dec. 17, 1942, to the late Muryl and Evalene (Recker) Kalous in Missoula, Montana. He graduated from Gillett High School with the class of 1962. Ron enlisted in the U.S.
Clifford Michael Schimmelpfenning
Clifford Michael Schimmelpfenning, 82, from Shawano, was reunited with his loving wife Marion on Thursday, April 21, 2022. He was born May 11, 1939, the son of the late Walter and Anna (Smits) Schimmelpfenning. Cliff had a passion for the outdoors and in his younger days he spent much of his free time hunting and fishing.
Joseph Boehm
Joseph “Joe” Boehm, 92, of Arbor Vitae, passed away at the Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff on Nov. 26, 2021. He is survived by his wife, Jeannine “Jen” Boehm; six children; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter. Inurnment will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Shawano. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to your local food pantry.
Terry Flanigan
Terry Flanigan, 72, Oconto Falls, died suddenly of natural causes Wednesday, April 20, 2022. He was born March 9, 1950, in Arkansas and was raised by Harley “Doc” and Betty (Burns) Davis in Port Washington. As a young man, he served in the U.S. Army from 1973 until 1989 as an MP in various capacities.
Gerald G. Knueppel
Gerald G. Knueppel passed away peacefully on Friday, Jan. 14, 2022 at the age of 88. He was born to Melvin and Susan (Blum) Knueppel on Dec. 21, 1933. Gary grew up in Milwaukee, graduating from Rufus King High School in 1952. He then attended Wisconsin College, Milwaukee (later University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee) until he enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he served in the Korean conflict as a cook.
Donald L. Dreier
Donald L. Dreier, 85, of Shawano, passed away Monday morning, April 18, 2022, following a hard-fought battle with leukemia. Don was born in New London on Sept. 6, 1936, the son of the late Allman and Ruth (Sielaff) Dreier. Don attended school in Shawano, graduating from Shawano High School with the Class of 1954. Following high school, he attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he graduated from the School of Pharmacy in 1958.
