Frank Waschbisch, 85, Oconto Falls, died suddenly Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 27, 2024, of natural causes at home with family present. He was born Feb. 12, 1939, on the family farm in the Town of Oconto Falls to Peter and Margaret (Gallagher) Waschbisch. Frank grew up on the family farm where he learned to work hard and to care for animals.

Linda L. Kraemer, 81, of the Town of Belle Plaine, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2024, at her home. Linda Lee Kraemer was born Nov. 3, 1942, in Evanston, Illinois, daughter to the late Roy and Mary Jane (McMullen) Johnson. She was united in marriage to John R. Kraemer on July 20, 1963, in Park Ridge, Illinois.

Marie Alice Renel, 86, of Shawano, left us Thursday, Feb. 29, 2024. She was born March 6, 1937, in Oconto Falls to Raymond Sr. and Alice (Nass) Young. Growing up on the family farm, Marie learned how to work hard alongside her mother. At the age of 14, she moved with her sister, Shirley, to live above the Falls Family Restaurant, where they worked as waitresses and attended school. At the age of 17, Marie married Fred A. Renel on Aug.

Dennis D. Owen passed away at his home in Wittenberg on his 70th birthday, Saturday, March 2, 2024, under the care of his family and hospice. Dennis was born on March 2, 1954, in Oshkosh as the son of Luella (Niebauer) Owen and the late Austin Owen. He attended school in Oshkosh and enlisted in the United States Army at age 17. Dennis served from 1971 until 1974 and was stationed overseas in Germany and Korea.

James G. VandenBrook, 91, of Bonduel, was taken into the Lord’s hands on Thursday, Feb. 29, 2024. James was born in Green Bay on Aug. 29, 1932, son of the late George and Ida (Dingeldein) VandenBrook Sr. Jim graduated from Bonduel High School. On Sept. 24, 1955, Jim was united in marriage to Patricia A. Posselt at St. Paul Lutheran Church-Stony Hill, in Thornton. Patricia preceded Jim in death on Aug.

Block, 36, Bonduel, pleaded no contest Dec. 12 to battery to emergency medical care providers, two counts of criminal damage to property, two counts second-degree recklessly endangering safety, 17 counts of felony bail jumping, two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct and a misdemeanor charge of resisting or obstructing an officer. Judge William Kussel Jr. sentenced him Feb.

Baier, 40, Oconto, pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges of possession of THC and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that occurred Nov. 4.
