Oconto County School Supply Drive Inc. was recently awarded a $5.000 grant from the Leon H. and Clymene M. Bond Foundation Inc. The foundation’s target area is focused on Oconto County and its surrounding areas.

Anthony “Tony” Janiak, 77, Oconto Falls, died Wednesday morning, April 24, 2024. at home. He was born July 24, 1946, in West Allis to Henry “Fritz” and Joyce (Newstrom) Janiak. The family lived in Amberg before moving to Abrams where Tony attended Oconto Falls public schools, graduating with the class of 1964. Dennis M. Maas, age 77, of Mountain, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024. Dennis was born Jan. 23, 1947, to the late Norbert and Gertrude (Jezeski) Maas. He loved riding his UTV.
