Elroy W. Peters, 87, Abrams, died Saturday morning, Aug. 10, 2024, at home. He was born Sept. 16, 1936, in Green Bay to William and Elsie (Behnke) Peters. Elroy grew up in Abrams where he attended elementary school, graduating from Oconto Falls High School with the class of 1954. Following graduation, he worked on the Green Bay & Western Railroad for five years. On Dec. 28, 1959, he entered the U.S.

Jacob Rudnick, accused of sexual assault in two separate cases, is getting a lowered bond that could allow him to be released before his first trial in November. Wisconsin corn production is forecast at 538 million bushels, down 3% from the previous year, according to the latest USDA, National Agricultural Statistics Service – Crop Production report.
