Adam Werner’s 18 points were not enough to lift a shorthanded Gillett Secondary School boys basketball team over Bonduel in both teams’ season opener Saturday in Bonduel. Linda Koeller volunteers at the Shawano Area Food Pantry and Resource Center (SAFPARC) and for St. Vincent de Paul. Hunting season at our house is another holiday, thrown in there just before Thanksgiving, but from personal experience, I know it’s something the men have in the back of their heads all year long.
