Beechner, 44, Shawano, pleaded no contest Jan. 26 to possession of methamphetamine, possession of narcotic drugs, possession of THC (second or subsequent offense), and felony bail jumping. Judge William Kussel Jr. withheld sentencing and placed her on three years of probation with conditions.

• Arianah Rose Dawson, 19, Pulaski, pleaded guilty Jan. 26 to possession of methamphetamine and a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Judge Michael Judge approved a deferred judgment agreement on the felony count. For the misdemeanor, he withheld sentencing and placed her on one year of probation with conditions.

Hannah Cournoyer, from Oconto Falls, was named to the president’s list for the fall 2025 semester at Coker University in Hartsville, South Carolina.

The president’s list honors students who earn a GPA of 4.0 for at least 12 semester hours of course work taken on the ABC grading system.

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, so I decided to try to find a new recipe to celebrate it. There are so many different recipes for Valentine’s Day, from main dishes to desserts, but I ultimately decided to try a thumbprint cookie recipe.

Thumbprint cookies are delicious with a buttery, shortbread-like base, and sweet jam or jelly baked into the center.
