This year’s Kickoff to Copperfest Banquet will be held at 6:30 p.m. June 6 at the Oconto Elks Club, 310 Farnsworth Ave., Oconto. Copperfest grand marshal Dee Donlevy will be honored at the banquet and new this year will be the coronation of Miss Copperfest 2024. May 9 Marion Invitational Marion golfers won their own invitational at Glen Carin Golf Course in Ogdensburg. The Mustangs hit a low score of 362, three strokes better than the 365 hit by both Amherst and Antigo. Wittenberg-Birnamwood was fourth with a 370.

May 10 Bay Conference Mini-Meet No. 5 Shawano golfers scored a 189 and placed fifth out of six teams at Ledgeview Golf Course in De Pere. Junior Blake Knope led the Hawks with a 42. He was joined by Tristan Miller with 48, Noah LaRok with 49 and Jakob Stuhr with 50.
