The wide receiver room has received some reinforcements. After years of clamoring for a first-round pick at receiver, the fanbase got its wish with Matthew Golden arriving in Green Bay. Reported attendance levels at the 2025 NFL draft in Green Bay surpasses expectations
Bringing the NFL draft to the league’s smallest market was supposed to mean a smaller crowd. Green Bay Packers fans had other ideas. Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy said several days before the draft that the forecast was for a total attendance of 250,000 for all three days.

Take a bow, Green Bay. When it was announced the 2025 NFL draft was going to be held in Green Bay, Wisconsin, I truly did not know what to expect. Sure, I’ve been to Green Bay a bunch. I lived there for two years while completing by degree at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. I’ve been to countless Packers games.

Deer council approves holiday hunt, extended archery season
The overall theme of the Shawano County Deer Advisory Council meeting was more opportunities for deer hunters in an effort to get an ever-swelling deer herd under control.
