Golda V. Wunrow, 67, of Cecil, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2014, at her home with her husband at her side.
Golda was born on Oct. 12, 1946, to Edna (Jones) and V. C. Phillips in Wetumka, Oklahoma. On April 16, 1966, she married Roman Wunrow. She enjoyed sewing and making quilts. She loved living on the lake. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Shawano.
She is survived by her husband, Roman Wunrow, of Cecil; her mother, Edna Knight, of Delores, Colorado; a brother, Mika (Judi) Phillips, of Delores, Colorado; brothers-in-law, Raymond (Gloria) Wunrow and Reinhold (Shirley) Wunrow; and many loving relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughters, Christy and Cathy; also her father, V. C. Phillips; her stepfather, Maxie Knight; and brothers, Tommy Phillips and Johnny Knight.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Zastrow Funeral Home in Cecil with the Rev. Gisele Berninghaus officiating. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Inurnment will be held at St. John Baptist Cemetery in Howard.
