Cindy Tabbert, 73, Oconto Falls, died suddenly Friday evening, May 2, 2014, at a Green Bay hospital. She was born Aug. 2, 1940, in Milwaukee to Clyde and Elaine Gallun.
On Dec. 12, 1985, she married Myron “Skip” Tabbert in Milwaukee. The couple retired in 1994 to rural Oconto Falls, where they made their home on the Oconto River. Cindy bartended in Milwaukee area supper clubs and later at Scully’s and Club 32 while living in the Oconto Falls area.
Survivors are her husband, Myron “Skip” Tabbert; one son, Wade Gehrt; one daughter, Rene Gehrt; one stepson, Brian (Theresa) Tabbert; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; one brother, Clyde (Patricia) Gallun; nieces and nephews.
Private family services will be held in Milwaukee at a later date.
