The Brazeau Emergency Services annual fundraiser picnic will be held from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, July 26, at the Klondike ball field, 8162 County Road Z, Pound.
The event will feature activities for all ages, including games, bounce houses, raffles and the Eagle III helicopter. Good Ole Country will perform from 1-5 p.m. Food, including sweet corn and chicken booyah, will be available for purchase.
Making its debut this year is Under The Lights Entertainment Live Professional Wrestling, from 5-8 p.m. This is an all-ages event, and admission is free.
UTL Entertainment’s seven matches will feature a rematch from Copperfest: Ring of Honor pro wrestling star Silas Young versus “Tattoo’d” Mark Priebe. The UTL heavyweight championship match features The Native American Warrior Tejas (champion) versus Dysfunction. Also in action are Joey “JET” Avalon, TW3, Captain Freedom, Xavier Mustafa, The Super Smash Brothers and others.
Proceeds from the picnic will help to update equipment and replace defibrillators for the Brazeau Fire Department, Brazeau Ambulance and Brazeau Dive Team.
