Wittenberg-Birnamwood’s girls won at Triple-County while the boys team placed second. Marion’s boys and girls teams each placed eighth among the 11 schools.
For the Chargers, Faith Resch was the fastest in the 100-meter hurdles and the 300-meter hurdles. She also won the high jump and triple jump.
Kylee Beversdorf won the 100-meter dash. Nora Bushman took first place in the 1,600-meter run and the 3,200-meter run.
Marion’s Presley Stewart-Rolfs had the farthest discus throw.
Kaden Yaeger fed the Wittenberg-Birnamwood boys tally with a first-place finish in the 200-meter dash, and Jett Rogowski placed first in the 400-meter dash.
Alex Sanderson finished first in the 300-meter hurdles.
Winning the 4x400-meter relay were Rogowski, Sanderson, Bryson Schmid and Yaeger.
Landen Schmidt won the discus.
Marion’s best result was a pair of third-place finishes.
Tristan Herro was third in the high jump. The foursome of Anthony Pagon, Jolanzo LeRoy, Alex Abrahamson and Caleb Stern placed third in the 4x100.
