David Lloyd Sutherland, 62, of Shawano, died on Tuesday, July 1, 2014.
Born on Sept. 3, 1951, in Lakeview, Michigan, he is the son of Lloyd Sutherland and the late Patricia Ann (Evans) Sutherland.
David was an educator in Michigan until his retirement in 2002 and lived in the Shawano/Clintonville area for five years. David was a member of the United Methodist Church in Clintonville and enjoyed biking, cross-country skiing, golfing and many other sports.
David is survived by his special friend, Ann Morgan, of Shawano; his children, Aaron (Stacy) Sutherland and Liana Sutherland; his father, Lloyd; and two grandchildren, all of Michigan. He is further survived by his siblings, Mary (Dan) Doepker, Linda (Mike) Cheanowski and Wayne (Cindy) Sutherland, all of Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Memorial services will be held in Michigan at a later date.
