Pearl Bertha Bernice Samsa (Larschied) was born April 30, 1938, in Marinette.
On the day of her passing, Pearl was joyfully reunited with those who have gone before her.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Fredrick and Ruth (Timm) Larschied; her sisters, Rosemary Johnston, Nancy Palenica, Alice Wolske, Sharon Larschied; brother, William “Bill” Larschied; sons, Joseph Samsa and Bruce Samsa; and her grandsons, Matthew Samsa and Jason Samsa.
During her journey on earth, she operated a dairy farm, ran a daycare and was a loving housewife and mother.
Pearl is survived by her children, Mike (Sharon) Samsa, daughter‑in‑law Doreen Samsa, Mary (Vern) Peltz, Kim (Robert) Wessel and Roger Samsa; sister, Phyllis McCash; brothers, Fredrick (Sandy) Larschied and John Larschied; 20 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren, along with many others who called her Grandma.
Throughout her life, Pearl led her family with humor, unconditional love and a deep devotion to biblical truths and scripture. Her faith was the foundation of her strength, and her laughter was the heart of every gathering.
There will be a memorial service on May 23, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Oconto Gospel Chapel, 251 Michigan Ave., Oconto. Lunch will be provided, followed by a burial at Brookside Cemetery.
