Randy M. Zahn

Randy M. Zahn, 65, Oconto Falls, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2024, unexpectedly and peacefully at home. Randy was the first-born son to Marvin and Dorthy Zahn. He was a baptized, confirmed and active member of Immanuel/Faith United Lutheran Church in Gillett. Randy graduated high school and went on to obtain his associate’s degree from Moraine Park Technical School.
Rose A. Wirtz
Rose A. Wirtz, 77, Krakow, died Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2024, from injuries sustained from an automobile accident. The daughter of Raymond and Florence (Maternoski) Drella was born on Oct. 13, 1947, in Green Bay. Rose was a lifelong resident of Krakow and graduated from Pulaski High School. On Aug. 22, 1970, she married Roger Wirtz at St. Casimir Church in Krakow. Rose was a school bus driver for the Pulaski School District for several years.
April Lee (Allen) Loppnow
April Lee (Allen) Loppnow, 59, of Rosemount, Minnesota, passed away on Oct. 26, 2024, at United Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota. Born on May 7, 1965, in Oconto, she graduated from Oconto Falls high school in 1983 but never stopped learning about the world and those she cared about.
Lorna J. Alberg
Lorna J. Alberg, of Weston, formerly of Wittenberg, went to be with Jesus her Savior on Dec. 27, 2024. Lorna was born on Aug. 4, 1931, in the Town of Fairbanks, the daughter of Otto and Violet (Seefeldt) Krueger. On May 31, 1952, Lorna was united in marriage to Robert Alberg in Split Rock. They were married for 68 years before Robert’s passing. Lorna graduated from Tigerton High School and the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
Karen Lutz
Karen Lutz, 81, Oconto Falls, died suddenly Saturday morning, Dec. 21, 2024, at St. Clare Hospital. She was born Jan. 16, 1943, in Spruce to Fred and Lillian (Knedlhans) Rabas. Karen was raised on a dairy farm in Spruce where she learned early in life the value of hard work, commitment and family.
Raymond Marquardt
Raymond Marquardt, 94, formerly of the Tigerton area, passed away Dec. 19, 2024. Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home, Tigerton.
Marilyn Nelson
Marilyn (Ravenhill) Nelson, 85, of Lake Mills and formerly Oconto Falls, passed away peacefully at her home on Dec. 17, 2024. Marilyn was born in Watertown on Nov. 6, 1939, to Carl and Fern (Sander) Ravenhill and grew up in Lake Mills, graduating from Lake Mills High School in 1957.
