Daniel ‘Buster’ Young

True to form, Daniel “Buster” Young pulled one final Irish goodbye — passing peacefully in his sleep on July 1, 2025. He left this world in classic Buster fashion, quietly, quickly and on his own terms. Daniel was born in Oconto Falls to Donald and Elizabeth (Betty) Young, and graduated with the Oconto Falls High School class of 1971. Buster had a deep love for the great outdoors.
Lois A. Elbe
Lois A. Elbe, 95, of Green Bay, passed away Friday, June 27, 2025, at Woodside Manor in Green Bay. Lois was born Sept. 26, 1929, to the late Emil and Selma Kobs. She graduated from Gillett High School. She married Harold Elbe on Oct. 25, 1958. He preceded her in death on Nov. 19, 2010. Lois had fond memories of her time working at Wisconsin Bell as a phone operator. She enjoyed time on Shawano Lake with Harold.
Anne J. Erdman
Anne J. Erdman, 87, of Marion, passed away peacefully at Greentree Health & Rehabilitation Center, Clintonville, on July 2, 2025. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Marion, is assisting the family.
Steve ‘Skunk’ Krause
Steve “Skunk” Krause, 73, Oconto Falls, died Monday afternoon, June 30, 2025, at a Milwaukee area hospital following complications from heart surgery. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls. Visitation will continue after 9 a.m. Monday, July 7, 2025, until the time of service. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at noon Monday at the church.
Michelle ‘Missy’ Boehm
Michelle (Missy) Marie Boehm, 68, of Maplewood, Minnesota, passed away June 16, 2025, at Regions Hospital, St. Paul, Minnesota. Michelle was a 1975 graduate of Shawano High School and earned her bachelor of science degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1979. A talented and skilled title abstractor, the majority of her career was with Land Title, Inc-Roseville, Minnesota.
Susan R. Geneske
Susan Rose (Weyenberg) Geneske, 70, of Suring, passed away peacefully June 17, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on April 6, 1955, and raised in Little Chute, Sue was the cherished daughter of Melvin and Lucille Weyenberg. Throughout her life — as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend — she was known for her contagious laughter, gentle spirit and unwavering presence.
