Frederick ‘Fritz’ Charles Klevesahl

Frederick “Fritz” Charles Klevesahl, 89, of Bonduel, passed away on Monday, Feb. 15, 2021. Fred was born March 3, 1931, to the late Frederick and Hannah (Hinkel) Klevesahl Sr. and was baptized and confirmed at Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church. Fred graduated from Bonduel High School in May 1949. He enlisted in the United States Army on Oct. 10, 1951, and went on to proudly serve his country as a member of the 18th Ordinance MM Company.
Sharon L. Gueths
Sharon L. Gueths, 77, of Shawano, passed away peacefully on Monday, Feb. 15, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Sept. 22, 1943, in Wausau to the late Alfred and Alice (Steffen) Mielke. Sharon attended school in Wausau. On Dec. 28, 1991, Sharon was united in marriage to James Gueths in Oshkosh. This year, the couple would have celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary. She was a member of Peace United Church of Christ.
Eleonora M. Schroeder
Eleonora M. Schroeder, 93, Shawano, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021. Eleonora was born July 31, 1927, in the Town of Hartland to the late William and Eleanor (Drage) Schulz. On Aug. 17, 1968, Eleonora married Wilfred “Will” Schroeder at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel, the Rev. Virgil Joss officiating. The couple lived and farmed in Underhill township until Will retired in 2002.
James W. Harris
James W. Harris, 85, of the Town of Franzen, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Jim was born Jan. 3, 1936, in the Town of Franzen. The son of Abe and Ina (Day) Harris. Jim worked as a parts manager at John Deere in Caroline for many years. He loved John Deere and has a vast collection. Jim later moved to Florida, where he was a part owner of the A&W Tropicals.
Gaynor Mae Stephenson
Gaynor Mae Stephenson, 79, of Shawano, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021. Gaynor was born May 15, 1941, to the late Arnold and Lydia (Huntington) Miller in Red Springs. She graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School in 1959. On April 23, 1960, Gaynor was united in marriage to Guy Stephenson in Sturgeon Bay. Guy preceded her in death in 1984.
Ruth C. Kopitzke
Ruth C. Kopitzke, 82, of the Town of Grant, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday afternoon, Feb. 8, 2021, at her home. Ruth Carol Linke was born on July 29, 1938, in the Town of Fairbanks, Shawano County, as the daughter of the late Reinhold and Wilma (Thies) Linke. After high school, Ruth earned her nursing degree from Mercy School of Nursing in Oshkosh, graduating on Aug.
Bertie Regina ‘Jeanne’ Asenbrenner
Bertie Regina “Jeanne” Asenbrenner, 72, of Shawano, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2021, after suffering a massive stroke. Jeanne was born Jan. 30, 1949, to the late Britton and Annie Mae (Helms) Morris in Florida and grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina. On July 12, 1980, Jeanne was united in marriage to John A. Asenbrenner in Madison. Jeanne was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Leopolis, where she taught high school catechism.
