Thomas L. Lyon

Thomas L. Lyon, 80, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, died on March 8 at his home from acute myeloid leukemia and complications from his treatments. He is survived by his wife, Barbara, children, Jeff (Karen), Melissa (Steve) Duin and Scott; and grandchildren Megan Lyon, Nick Lyon, Alyson Duin and Brayton Duin.

Neva M. (Mae) Schweers, 92, of Stevens Point, died late Sunday evening, March 7, 2021, at Whispering Pines Assisted Living Center with her family at her side. Neva was born Feb. 11, 1929, in Tilleda. She was the daughter of the late Alvin and Eva (Maas) Zastrow. She attended local schools in Shawano. Her marriage to Robert D. Schweers took place on June 25, 1950. Her husband, Robert, preceded her in death on Jan. 1, 1997.

Lon L. Henke
Lon Henke, 72, Machesney Park, Illinois, went home to Jesus on March 4, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He fought a long, courageous battle with stroke residuals and multiple myeloma. Born on Nov. 20, 1948, in Shawano to Henry Henke and Fern (Alft) Henke, Lon spent his childhood in the idyllic outdoors of Wisconsin; playing, fishing, hunting, boating, and water skiing with his siblings, cousins and friends that he grew up with.

Shirley A. Kriegel, 60, of Shawano, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday morning, March 5, 2021, in Shawano. Shirley was born Dec. 17, 1960, in Antigo, a daughter of Elmyra M. (Hoffman) Kriegel and the late Harold E. Kriegel. She attended school in Antigo, graduating from Antigo High School in 1979. Following high school, Shirley moved to Shawano where she was employed at Lakeland Industries. She was a good and faithful member of St.
Adele E. Gast
Adele E. Fandrey Gast, 103, of Shawano passed away Sunday morning, Feb. 28, 2021, at the Cottages Assisted Living Center in Shawano where she had been a resident for the past five years. Adele was born Sept. 19, 1917, in the Town of Almon, Shawano County, a daughter of the late Herman and Anna (Bartelme) Hapke. She attended Regina Grade School and graduated with the first class of Bowler High School in 1937.
