Lorna Lucelle (Stoik) Meinhardt reunited with her husband, John (Jack), on Sunday, March 21, 2021. Lorna is survived by her children, Kristine, John (Karl), Katherine and Ken (wife Amy, special step-grandchildren Elias and Lorelei); sister Sylvia; sister-in-law Elaine; many nieces, nephews and other family, as well as her special friends and caregivers, Amy Olson, Dawn Papendorf, Mary DuBois, Gwen Porter, Sahara Burr, Sandy Schoen and Vickie Ande
Dorothy M. Moede
Dorothy “Sue” Marie Moede, 78, of Gresham, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on March 13, 2021. Sue was born on March 28, 1942, to Harry E. and Leona (Beilke) Malone. Sue is survived by her children, Robin, Chaz (Michelle), Gina and Nadly (Jeff).
Ida Niebur
Ida Mary Ann Niebur, 81, of Lake Tomahawk, passed away March 17, 2021, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home and Crematory in Clintonville is assisting the family.
Russell Olson
Russell “Rusty” Olson, 62, of Hatley, died on Thursday, March 18, 2021, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Rusty was born Feb. 13, 1959, in Monmouth, Illinois, the son of Russell and Ruth (Clark) Olson. Rusty worked as a firefighter for the Wittenberg Fire Department and as a paramedic for the Spirit Critical Care Transport for many years. After Sept. 11, 2001, Rusty went to New York for a week to help with search and recovery.
Alice Rose Lex
Alice Rose Lex, 86, of Antigo, died Thursday, March 18, 2021, at her home under the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice. She was born on April 24, 1934, in Birnamwood, a daughter of the late Joseph and Barbara (Rank) Korbisch. She married George Lex on Oct. 1, 1952, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Aniwa. He preceded her in death on Feb. 29, 2008. She was a graduate of Birnamwood High School.
Carleton P. DeWitt
Carleton Peter DeWitt, 92, of Oconto, passed from this life to eternal life on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at his daughter’s home in Tomball, Texas. Peter was born on Feb. 19, 1929, to Donald and Eleanor Holt DeWitt, the second of three boys. His brothers were Douglas and Robert DeWitt, who preceded him in death in 2005 and 1972, respectively. In his youth, Pete was an avid sailor as well as an amateur radio operator.
Shirley M. Fiala
Shirley Marie Fiala gained her angel wings Nov. 12, 2020. Born on March 24, 1931, Shirley was the oldest of four children born of her parents, Gladys and Raymond Sager. In her early years, Shirley grew up on a farm, first in Kewaunee and later in Oconto and Suring.
