Elma Biedess-Devine, 67, of Shawano, passed away March 29, 2021. She was born Aug. 29, 1953, in Curacao Netherlands Antilles to Jacob and Miriam Yorke. She was a certified nursing assistant. Elma is survived by her husband, Robert A. Devine; two sons, Calvin Biedess and Vernid Demali; two brothers; six sisters; and two grandchildren.

Alice A. Rosenow, 86, of Bowler, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021. Beil-Didier Funeral Home in Tigerton is assisting with arrangements.

Bridget Matarrese was born in Shawano on June 25, 1959, to Mary Breneman and Douglas Burris. She attended Shawano schools and graduated from Shawano High School in 1977. It has been said that, back in the day, she was the disco queen at the best (only) disco in Shawano. She married Rick Matarrese in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1989, and they had one child, Kristina (Tina) Marie Matarrese in 1990.
