Melvin R. Trever

Melvin R. Trever, 90, of Mountain, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2021. Melvin was born on April 18, 1931, to the late Raymond and Ardis (Saunders) Trever. Melvin served his country from 1950 to 1953 in the U.S. Army. Melvin married Lois Troutman at Hickory Church of Christ in December 1952. He was a member of Mountain Church of Christ. Melvin loved to go fishing, including fly fishing, and also enjoyed hunting.
Charles E. Hull
Charles E. “Charlie” Hull, 83, of Shawano, passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, Oct. 5, 2021, at Oak Haven Assisted Living in Shawano, where he had resided for the past nine days. Charlie was born June 21, 1938, in Shawano, a son of the late Lloyd and Agnes (Zueske) Hull. He attended Shawano schools before entering the U.S. Army. Charlie faithfully served his country from 1955 until 1958, spending two of those years in Germany.
Harriet A. McCauley
Harriet “Punky” A. McCauley, 83, of Clintonville, passed away Monday morning, Oct. 4, 2021 at Aster Assisted Living in Clintonville. Harriet was born on Sept. 6, 1938, in New London as the daughter of the late George and Margaret (Quall) McCauley. She graduated from Clintonville High School in 1956.
Kenneth L. Askenette Sr.
Kenneth L. Askenette Sr., 57, of Neopit, passed away on Monday, Oct. 4, 2021. Kenneth was born on July 6, 1964, to the late Marvin “Steve” and Joyce (Wayka) Askenette Sr. in Shawano. He attended St. Anthony’s grade school and graduated from Menominee Indian High School in 1981. During high school, Kenneth played basketball and baseball. Growing up in Neopit, Kenneth was one of the Dog Town Soldiers.
