Mary Louise Grignon

Mary Louise Grignon, 83, of Keshena, passed away on Monday, Oct. 18, 2021. She was born April 25, 1938, in Keshena to the late Raymond and Josephine (Nahwahquaw) Grignon Sr. Mary attended St. Joseph’s Catholic School, Shawano High School and went on to Milwaukee Vocational School. Mary worked at Menominee Tribal Offices, and then she became the first clerk of court and register of deeds for Menominee County.
Theodore D. Hitzler
Theodore David Hitzler, 88, of Franklin, North Carolina, passed away Oct. 18, 2021. Moffitt Family Funeral Care is assisting the family.
Russell A. Stoehr
Russell “Buck” Anthony Stoehr, 94, Gresham, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021. He was born Oct. 16, 1927, in Gresham to the late Matthew and Anna (Gottschalk) Stoehr. He attended Gresham High School. On Feb. 28, 1952, he married Geneva Straley. Buck served his country in the U.S. Army, attaining the rank of corporal from 1945 until 1947. Buck farmed throughout his adult years, and after retirement had a beef farm as a hobby.
Jean E. Lewis
Jean Eleanore (Swanson) Lewis, 92, of Shawano, formerly of Hurley, died Oct. 15, 2021, in Shawano with her family by her side. Jean was born Aug. 15, 1929, in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of the late Clifford and Laila (Asunto) Swanson. Jean’s ancestors were pioneer residents of Ironwood, Michigan. She attended schools in Winegar (Presque Isle) and Ironwood, graduating from Luther L. Wright High School in 1947.
Karen Ann Zoeller
Karen Ann Zoeller, 77, Howard, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021, after a brief illness. She was born April 13, 1944, in Suring to Ed and Irma (Zaddack) Bubolz. Karen was a 1962 graduate of Suring High School. She met Ron Zoeller at the Gillett Fair, and they married in 1964. Together they shared 57 incredible years. Karen was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
Harold W. Delzer
Harold W. Delzer, 93, Morgan, died Saturday afternoon, Oct. 16, 2021, at a Green Bay hospital. He was born March 30, 1928, to Hugo and Ella (Retzlaff) Delzer Sr. Harold grew up in the Town of Morgan and graduated from Oconto Falls High School. On Jan. 27, 1951, he married Beryl Calba in Oconto. The couple farmed their entire married lives in the Town of Morgan with the help of family members and good friends.
Barbara A. Monfort
Barbara Ann (Siebert) Monfort died on Oct. 12, 2021, of pancreatic cancer. She was born Feb. 27, 1936, in rural Marion to Henry and Clara (Culver) Siebert, the youngest of 13 children. In 1941, she moved with her family to the Gillett area. Barbara met and married the love of her life, Freeman (Bud) Monfort, in 1952. Together they raised four children while residing in Green Bay, Two Rivers and Howard.
