Lena Dairyfest will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12, at the St. Anne’s Parish grounds in Lena. The day will begin with the annual 5K Stampede Run-Walk. Homecoming week will be celebrated Sept. 13-19 at Oconto Falls High School. The celebration starts Sunday when students decorate the school hallways and paint windows at local businesses. Going into its final match, the Suring High School volleyball team, which was 2-6 at the time, had no idea how big of an impact a victory could have on the Bonduel Invitational on Sept. 1. After losing to Laona-Wabeno, Waupaca and Bonduel, the Eagles were set to face Omro in the fourth match of the day.
