Anthony P. Wolf

Anthony Peter Wolf, 61, of Neopit, passed away on Friday, Dec. 11, 2015. He was born on April 12, 1954, to the late Elizabeth Wolf Pierce, in Triton, Michigan. Anthony served the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era. He was a certified plumber and worked for Menominee Tribal Enterprises for 15 years before retirement. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, and the Menominee Veterans.
Man gets 5 years for assaulting child
A 32-year-old Keshena man was sentenced in federal court last week to five years in prison for the assault of a 6-month-old child resulting in substantial bodily injury. Derrick M. Corn will also serve another three years on federal supervised release after his prison sentence. According to the criminal complaint, Menominee Tribal Police responded on Jan. 17 to a report of a possible child drowning at a residence on the reservation.

Alice Daisy Skalitzky Koeller, 93, of Shawano, died on Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015. Born on April 18, 1922, in Oneida, she was the daughter of the late Elmer W. and Laura (Perry) Blish. Alice lived in Shawano most of her life and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church-Stony Hill. Alice is survived by her sons, Eugene F. (Eileen) Skalitzky and Richard P.

James A. Shepard
James A. Shepard, 54, of Bowler, left on his journey on Monday afternoon, Dec. 14, 2015, at the Appleton Medical Center, following a sudden illness. Jim was born on April 19, 1961, in Keshena, a son of Ira and Mary (Tomow) Shepard. He attended the Indian Community School in Milwaukee. Following high school he went to work in Milwaukee. For the past 12 years he was employed as the groundskeeper at Pine Hills Golf Course.
John A. Gallagher III
John A. Gallagher III, 81, of Shawano, died on Dec. 13, 2015. His family surrounded him as he embarked on his next journey. Born on Dec. 8, 1934, in Shawano, John was the son of the late John A. and Gretchen (Arent) Gallagher. He attended Notre Dame University before returning to Shawano to take over the family business, Gallagher Drug Store.
Rick L. Klose
Rick Lee Klose, 64, of Shawano, passed away peacefully at home on Dec. 14, 2015, surrounded by his family. Rick was born on March 10, 1951, to Amaryllis and Kenneth Klose. He was a member of and was married at St. James Lutheran Church to Annette Unger on Oct. 30, 1972. Together they had two children, Corey and Christina, and many loving dogs. Rick enjoyed life on Shawano Lake and trips to the family cabin up north.
Deborah J. Warrington
Deborah Jean “Good ‘Ole” Warrington, 60, of Neopit, started her journey to the Spirit World on Dec. 11, 2015. She was born on Nov. 19, 1955, to the late Kenneth and Lillian (Mackiorowski) Warrington in Chicago. Deb was a good person at heart. She loved many things in life especially her children and grandchildren, family and friends, and loved framing them on the wall.
