Comments sought on Rib Mountain trail plan

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is seeking public comment on a plan for trails at Rib Mountain State Park. The Greater Wausau Prosperity Partnership, in collaboration with the DNR, has developed a trail network concept plan for Rib Mountain State Park.
Packers’ Tailgate Tour to visit fans around state
The Green Bay Packers announced plans for the Packers Tailgate Tour, set for April 8-12, which will travel around Wisconsin to visit with fans and thank them in person for their support. The event will feature current and alumni Packers players, with current players Josh Jacobs, Tucker Kraft and Lukas Van Ness and alumni players Ahman Green, Jermichael Finley and John Michels scheduled to board the bus, along with Packers President/CEO Mark Murph

Candidates for spring election listed
UPDATE: Information from two towns was inadvertently omitted from the list of spring election candidates that appeared in the Feb. 7 edition of the Oconto County Times Herald, including the Town of Little River, where Town Chairman Tom Portier is being challenged by Randy Hahn.Candidates will appear on the April 1 spring election ballot in Oconto County, except where there is a primary election pending.
Shawano-Menominee Circuit Court
• Jesse T. Parra, 51, Antigo, pleaded no contest Jan. 27 to operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (fourth offense) and a misdemeanor charge of operating while revoked. Walleye club holding fishing derby in Gillett
The Finnegan Lake Walleye Club will hold its annual fishing derby Feb. 22 in the main pavilion at Zippel Park, 150 N. McKenzie St., Gillett. The club will again be registering fish from area lakes at derby headquarters in Zippel Park. There will be prizes given for the largest northern, walleye, bass, crappie, perch, and bluegill.
