Chloride in soil blamed for water main breaks

High levels of chloride in the soil were responsible for three water main breaks along Main Street since December 2010, according to an engineering study that ruled out any problem with the materials used in Shawano’s downtown reconstruction project. Bonduel wrestlers take care of Eagles
The Bonduel High School wrestling team beat Central Wisconsin Conference foe Menominee Indian 54-21 Thursday in Bonduel. Senior Kyle Winker provided a highlight for Menominee Indian by tying the school’s career wins record. Bonduel, ranked No. 7 in Division 3 by Wisconsin Wrestling Online (WWO), started fast but struggled in the heavier weights. “I figured it would be a tough match to win,” Menominee Indian coach Kirk Bahr said.

Weather can't freeze out 'The Music Man'
