Linssen takes lead for Gillett charter schools

Administrative changes for the charter schools in Gillett were formalized by the School Board on Thursday. The board extended Gillett Secondary School Principal Steve Linssen’s contract to oversee the district’s charter schools for the 2014-15 school year. The district in 2011 opened two charter schools.

Deer advisory council meeting on Oct. 28
The Oconto County Deer Advisory Council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, to discuss deer population objectives during the next three years. OFHS trio endured tough times together
Although it has been a rocky last three-plus years for the Oconto Falls High School football program, three players were about as steady as they come. Ross Pumplun and Jacob Yatso stuck it out and endured 27 losses in a row. Sam Konitzer has felt the sting of defeat too often.
