Elsie L. Askenette, 58, of Keshena, started her journey to the Spirit World on Saturday afternoon, June 27, 2015, at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in Milwaukee, where she had been a patient for eight days. Elsie was born on May 7, 1957, in Shawano, a daughter of the late Ralph and Evelyn (Gauthier) Haack. She attended school in Neopit and later in Shawano. On Aug. 13, 2005, she was united in marriage to Marvin “Tony” Askenette.
