Pauline Heinz

Pauline Heinz, 80, of Shawano, passed away on Nov. 19, 2014. Born on Nov. 8, 1934, in Manitowoc, she was the daughter of the late Fritz and Elsie (Glaubitz) Zander. Pauline and James R. Heinz were united in marriage on May 31, 1958, in Shawano. Pauline worked as a medical technician at the Cantwell Peterson Clinic and eventually ThedaCare Clinic for 45 years before retiring. She enjoyed her career, especially because it gave her the opportunity to meet many wonderful people in the community. Pauline was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. She also enjoyed tending to her flower gardens and volunteering at her church, First Presbyterian, in Shawano. Pauline is survived by her husband, James Heinz Sr., of Shawano; children, James (Deb) Heinz Jr., of Shawano, Paula (Mike) Motzko, of Minnesota, Mike (Joni) Heinz, of Neenah, and Linda (George) Adams, of Wausau; and 12 grandchildren, Jimmy (Lindsey) Heinz, Andy Heinz, Eric (Kylie) Heinz, Mike Heinz, Scott Heinz, Todd Heinz, Anne Rae Motzko, Sam Motzko, Wil Heinz, Bethany Heinz, Emily Adams and Ben Adams. She is further survived by four great-grandchildren. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Tom Zander. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014, at First Presbyterian Church in Shawano with Rev. Susan Phillips officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorials for Pauline may be directed to either First Presbyterian Church of Shawano or Pathways, Olga Brener Woods Project.
