Jeanette R. Schinko

Jeanette “Neddy” R. Schinko, 76, of Watertown, passed away Monday, Feb. 9, 2015, at the Watertown Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held on Monday, Feb. 16, Watertown, with the Rev. Todd Iverson of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Milwaukee. Relatives and friends may gather to pay their respects at the funeral home on Monday from 2 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or the Watertown Senior Center. Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Watertown is serving the family. Online condolences may be made at www.hafemeisterfh.com. Jeanette Ruth Finger was born in Butler on Sept. 17, 1938, daughter of William and Norma (Wolter) Finger. Neddy was a former member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Tilleda. She was also a member of the Watertown Senior Center and a 10- year member of Wellness Works in Watertown. Neddy enjoyed Bingo and watching movies. She is survived by her children, Cynthia (Edward) Pero, of Oak Creek, Allen (Rita) Hartwig, of Gresham, Terry Hartwig-Bieser, of Pewaukee, Harrison Schinko, of Tilleda, Laura (Paul) Duhm, of Navarino, Gwendolyn Peterson, of Pewaukee, Norma (Edward) Jackson, of Austin, Texas, and Henry Schinko Jr., of Wittenburg; 22 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Diane (Douglas) Loper, of Oconomowoc, Louane (Robert) Borgman, of Nolensville, Tennessee, Jacqlyne (Alan) Orne, of Hartland, Marjorie (Ewald) Gansewendt, of West Bend; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents; a grandson, Nathaniel Duhm; a sister, Dorie McNutt; and three brothers, August Finger, Vernon Finger and William Finger.
