Dorothea later worked at Schultz’s Family Store until her retirement. Dorothea is survived by her daughter, Alice (Jerry) Schneider, of Cecil; grandson, Jesse Schneider, Cecil; her sister-in-law, Edith Lehrke, of Bonduel; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Dorothea was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph; a sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Vernon Pohlman; and a brother, George Lehrke Jr. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel with the Rev. Harley Kopitske officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family asks that donations be made to the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Bonduel. Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel is assisting the family with the arrangements. The family would like to extend a special heartfelt thank you to the staff at Appleton Medical Center for the wonderful care given to Dorothea during her stay. www.swedbergfuneralhome.com
