Wittenberg-Birnamwood’s Chris Sippl and Bonduel’s Cade Johnson locked up in a pitchers duel on a cold,windy Monday with Witt-Birn coming out on top 3-1.
Sippl threw a complete game for the win, striking out seven in the process. Johnson struck out 10 in five innings in the loss.
Johnson had the Bears only hit, an RBI single in the sixth. Connor Meverden homered for the Chargers.
