The Shawano softball team opened the 2025 campaign with a 2-1 mark at the Danny Mac Softball Classic in the Hodag Dome in Rhinelander.
On March 28, the Hawks defeated Edgar 15-5.
Shawano opened with four runs in the first inning and another six in the second. Edgar scored a run in the bottom of the second and trailed 10-1.
The Hawks added five runs in the top of the third. Edgar scored once in the bottom of the third and three more times in the fifth to end the scoring.
In their first game March 29, Shawano defeated Menomonie 6-4. Unfortunately, the Hawks their second game 11-2 to Stratford.
