The semifinals in the Badger Amateur Baseball Association have been set following a series of close games Aug. 18.
In the semifinals, Little Falls will travel to Eland and Clintonville will be at Scandinavia, with both games beginning at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 25.
Little Falls 3, Caroline 0
In the West Division final, it was Little Falls shutting out Caroline 3-0.
Chris Dunn was the winning pitcher, lasting nine innings, striking out 13 and allowing three hits.
Klay Barkow was on the losing end. He pitched 7 1/3 innings while striking out eight, walking five and giving up three hits.
For Little Falls, Cam Gruenwald hit 2-for-3 with a home run, and Parker Gullixon was 1-for-4.
Mike Weatherwax led Caroline hitters, going 2-for-3 at the plate. Tyler Marquardt was 1-for-4.
Clintonville 9, Neopit 8
Clintonville snuck past Neopit 9-8 in the East Division final. Aaron Hoffman pitched only two innings in the win, giving up four runs on three hits.
Clintonville pounded out 12 hits.
Hunter Vollmer was 2-for-4 with a solo home run, and Brock Smejkal was 2-for-5 with an RBI. Turner Doornink hit 2-for-5, and Jaden Doornink hit 2-for-3.
Neopit had eight hits.
Walker Miller was 2-for-2, with each hit being a two-run homer. Daylen Corn was also 2-for-2, while Wendell Waukau was 1-for-4 with a three-run home run.
Eland 6, Antigo/Polar 2
A pair of Eland batters racked up three home runs as Eland defeated Antigo/Polar 6-2 in the North Division final. Winning on the mound was Tyler Nelson, while Eli Flieshman took the loss.
For Eland, Charlie Woida hit 2-for-4 with a pair of home runs, and Ryan Richter also had a home run. Tyler Nelson hit 2-for-4 with a double.
Antigo/Polar’s Wesley Rivera had a home run.
Scandinavia 4, New London 3
In the South Central Division final, Scandinavia outlasted New London 4-3.
Scandinavia scored two runs with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning to advance.
