Baldwin chairing U.S. Senate’s agriculture committee

Newspaper Association Managers launches public notice website
Newspaper Association Managers, Inc., a consortium of North American trade associations representing the industry, has launched a website aimed at promoting legal notices in newspapers. The website, USALegalNotice.com, provides direct access to 47 public notice websites from across the country, each of which is operated by state newspaper associations.

Eastern New Mexico University Ian Bornemann, of Shawano, has been named to Eastern New Mexico University’s dean’s list for the fall 2020 semester. To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must complete a minimum of 15 credit hours with a GPA of 3.25 or greater. Hamline University Peyton Buerman, of Gillett, is one of 107 Hamline University School of Business undergraduate students to make the fall 2020 dean’s list.
Shawano library expands Wi-Fi access outside building
In a response to the challenges of COVID-19, Shawano County Library has recently expanded its Wi-Fi access to extend the range outside of the main library building. The new upgrade will help keep the community connected to the internet even when entrance to the building is limited, according to Kristie Hauer, library director. “We are excited to be able to expand Wi-Fi access to our patrons and members of the community,” said Hauer.
