A 49-year-old man was killed Jan. 12 in a UTV crash in the Town of Lena.
The Oconto County Sheriff’s Office said its Emergency Dispatch Center was notified around 2:50 p.m. of an accident involving a UTV with injuries on Goatsville Road east of Midway Road in the Town of Lena.
A preliminary investigation indicated the vehicle, operated by the man from Lena, left the road and overturned in the north ditch. The driver was ejected from the UTV and died at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash.
An ongoing investigation was being conducted by the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office and the Brown County Medical Examiner’s Office, and no other information was immediately released. The Oconto County Sheriff’s Office also received assistance from the Lena Fire Department and Coleman Area Rescue.
