The Lena Lions Club honored Alexandra Kristof, daughter of Dave and Missy Kristof, as the Lions Student of the Month for May. Kristof is a senior at Lena High School where she participates in volleyball, track and held the position of basketball manager. She is a member of the Lena High School band and yearbook staff.

The Walls of Wittenberg is hosting the “Emerging Talent VIII” exhibit through June 12, sponsoring it with Cirrinity. The exhibit features artwork from Wittenberg-Birnamwood School District students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Spring is the season of new beginnings, and the seniors at Suring High School started the next phase of their lives on May 21. Suring was the first local school district to stage its commencement exercises for the Class of 2022.
