The Oconto Falls High School softball team beat Seymour 12-6 in a Bay Conference game Thursday in Seymour.
The Panthers (2-2, 2-2 Bay) pulled ahead with a four-run second inning and followed that with a six-run third inning. Seymour (0-4, 0-3 Bay) scored two runs in the second and four runs in the third. Oconto Falls added a lone run in the seventh.
McKenna Kussow pitched all seven innings to earn the win for Oconto Falls, allowing six runs on 13 hits, while walking seven and striking out three.
Ashley Terry had three hits, including a double. Elizabeth Manns and Maddie Kussow each had a double and a single. Maddie Helmle had two hits.
Taylor Matuszak led Seymour, going 3 for 4 with a double. Rebecca Simpson took the loss for Seymour. She pitched seven innings, struck out three, walked two and allowed 12 runs on 12 hits.
