Janet Gallagher, 85, Shawano, formerly of Oconto Falls, died Wednesday evening, Nov. 30, 2022, at home in the presence of her two daughters. She was born Oct. 1, 1937, in Oconto Falls to Wesley and Hilda (Rusch) Christensen.
Jewel D. Posselt
Jewel D. Posselt, 81, of Shawano, passed away on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 24, 2022. She was born on July 5, 1941, to the late Alvin and Lily (Wussow) Nadler in Shawano. Jewel was a graduate of Bonduel High School. On May 30, 1964, she was united in marriage to David Posselt in Shawano. He preceded her in death in 2011. Jewel was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church Stony Hill.
James C. Kenote
James C. “Jim” Kenote, 56, of Shawano, walked on, after a brief battle with cancer, on Monday, Nov. 14, 2022, in Appleton. James was born in Harvey, Illinois, on Oct. 3, 1966, to the late Ronald and Joyce “Bunny” (Heath) Kenote. Jim was a graduate of Menominee Indian High School and attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. On May 20, 2001, he was united in marriage to Karen Konrardy.

Phillip J. Chilcote, 57, Oconto Falls, died Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 2022 at home. He was born July 30, 1965, in China Lake, California, to Arthur and Joyce (Hary) Chilcote-Moore.

Janet C. Brockmann, age 85, of Appleton, passed away at home on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022, following a long struggle with dementia. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville, is assisting the Brockmann family.

Mary L. Firkus
Mary L. Firkus, 96, of Schofield, formerly of Galloway, died on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022, at Copperleaf Memory Care in Schofield. Mary was born on Aug. 18, 1926, in Tennessee, the daughter of Alex and Novie (Piercy) Whited. On Feb. 5, 1947, Mary was united in marriage to Rolis Firkus at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Galloway. He preceded her in death on Feb. 8, 2003. Mary was a nurse’s aide at Homme Home of Wittenberg until her retirement.
