Darrell H. Wolf, 58, of the Town of Belle Plaine, passed away Tuesday evening, Dec. 6, 2022, at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. Darrell was born on July 2, 1964, in Clintonville as the son of Harold Wolf and the late Verl (Krueger) Wolf. Darrell grew up in the Town of Pella and was confirmed at Christus Lutheran Church in Clintonville.

Janet L. Knaus, 95, Lena, joined her husband on Monday afternoon, Dec. 5, 2022, at Meng Unity Hospice facility. She was born May 4, 1927, in Richland County. On April 2, 1960, she married Loren C. Knaus in Dubuque, Iowa.

Dorothy A. Sorensen, 80, of Gillett, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022. Dorothy was born on Dec. 27, 1941 to the late Oscar and Catherine (Kurek) Sorensen. She graduated from Gillett High School with the class of 1960. After high school, Dorothy began working as a secretary at the Green Bay Correctional Institution, which she retired from in 2000. Dorothy spent her retirement lovingly caring for her brother, Jimmy.

Ruby A. Christensen, 76, of Cecil, passed away on Monday, Dec. 5, 2022. Ruby was born on June 8, 1946, to the late Oscar and Johannah (Hischke) Block in Oconto Falls. On Aug. 12, 1967, Ruby married Norman Christensen at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Pulcifer. Ruby owned and operated the Gillett Beauty Center for over 30 years. Ruby was very active in the community.

Lucas L. “Dibs” Christenson, 46, of Shawano, died tragically Saturday evening, Nov. 19, 2022, at his home in Shawano. Lucas was born July 20, 1976, in Green Bay, a son of the late Steven Christenson and the late Jean (Schaetz) Kobiske. He attended Menominee Tribal School and Ashwaubenon High School.

Mary Jane Karst, 84, passed away on Monday, Nov. 28, 2022, in Appleton. She was born Oct. 1, 1938, to the late Karl and Alice (Kolaske) Baier in Oshkosh. On Aug. 5, 1961, she was united in marriage to Richard Karst at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Oshkosh. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in Bayfield in 2011, where they enjoyed vacationing for many years.
