Students from grades 5-8 participated in a spelling bee Jan. 27 at Suring School. Sixth-grader Paige Krueger was the winner.
Fifth-grader Katherine Mahoney, a student in Charlie Breed’s class, was the runner-up.
Krueger advanced to the CESA 8 regional spelling bee, held Tuesday, Feb. 10, at Peshtigo Elementary Learning Center.
Other students participating were Sasha Bayer, Macyn Garrigan, William Beaudin, Alisha Missal, Julie Lynch, Brandon Otradovec, Dylan Hoerth and Sawyer Mack.
