Three Lady Tigers scored in double figures en route to Gillett’s win Friday.
The Lady Tigers were led by Taylor Yonker with 16 points. Victoria Loberger and Taylor Kohls pitched in with 12 points apiece.
Gillett (15-7, 13-3 Marinette & Oconto Conference) pounced early, outscoring the visiting Cavaliers 35-12 in the first half.
Taylor Wilson led STAA (2-20, 0-16) with 14 points.

Gillett Secondary School held the visiting Wolverines to four first-half points in a Marinette and Oconto Conference win Feb. 17.
Junior Maya Breed and freshman Taylor Yonker each hit two 3-pointers and scored eight points to lead Gillett.
Gillett (14-7, 12-3 M&O) made eight of 18 free throws. The Wolverines were four of seven from the line.
Crivitz (9-12, 7-8 M&O) was led by Sydney Baumann with six points.

Suring pulled away in the fourth quarter to defeat host Lena on Feb. 17.
The Eagles trailed 33-29 but outscored Lena 18-7 in the final period.
Az VanBellinger scored 13 points and Breanna Tienor added 11 for Suring (8-13, 7-8 Marinette & Oconto Conference).
Nikitta Saldana led Lena (3-18, 2-14 M&O) with 11 points.

Oconto Falls 27
Oconto Falls could not keep up with host Clintonville after trailing by two points entering the second half in a nonconference game Monday.
The Panthers were outscored 15-6 in the second half, including a scoreless fourth quarter.
Michael Fifield led Oconto Falls (4-17, 1-14 Bay Conference) with 12 points and five rebounds.
Tyler Peterman had 20 points and six rebounds for Clintonville (8-13, 5-10 Eastern Valley Conference).

Four Lena players scored in double digits Monday.
Nash Haney led Lena (9-12, 5-11 Marinette & Oconto Conference) with 18 points and seven boards. Steven Rouer added 14 points and eight rebounds. Hunter Borchert added 13 points, and Connor Heise chipped in with 10.
John Christensen and Ryan Mahoney scored 10 for Suring (9-12, 8-7 M&O).

Gillett Secondary School was unable to overcome a 20-7 first-quarter deficit against visiting Wausaukee on Thursday.
Senior Daniel Torres led Gillett (7-13, 5-9 Marinette & Oconto Conference) with 20 points. Senior Adam Werner added 12.
Wausaukee (18-2, 14-0 M&O) had three score in double figures, with Aaron Schlies notching 20, Russell Smith 17 and Zach Orlando 13.

Senior Michael Fifield’s team-leading 23 points were not enough Feb. 17 as Oconto Falls squandered a five-point lead in the final period at Denmark.
Junior Michael Manns added 11 points for Oconto Falls (4-15, 1-13 Bay Conference).
Tanner Umentum scored a game-high 25 points for Denmark (8-12, 6-8 Bay) scored a game-high 25 points.
