Adams leads Panther runners at Luxemburg

Oct. 11 Russ Fameree Cross-Country Classic Oconto Falls’ Ben Adams ran to a second place finish in 16:50.82 at Northbrook Golf Course in Luxemburg as the Panthers boys placed fifth out of 17 teams. Isaiah Holtz placed 32nd, and Griffin Kopke was 36th. Evan Yuma placed 40th. Brant Laluzerne finished in 53rd place, just three seconds in front of Landon Timm, who was 54th. Emerson Rice placed 70th in 19:49.95. Suring’s Garrett School finished 102nd in 22:03.26. Blake De Grave finished in 22:29.17 for 106th place. Riley Thomson was 111th, and Skylar Bristol was 122nd. The Oconto Falls girls team also placed fifth (among 17 teams) with Hailey Delzer leading the team in 20:18.79 for a fifth place finish. Emma Meissner was 17th in 21:38.57, and Ava Hodkiewicz was 40th in 22:59.02. Josie Holtz placed 45th in 23:31.08, while Mackenzie Lotto was 62nd in 24:09.72. Suring Ginger Gerndt placed 63rd in 24:11.7. Natalie Seibert was 106th in 26:47.13.
