Pulaski ties, Shawano loses on soccer field

Oct. 10 Pulaski 1, Manitowoc 1 The Red Raiders and Ships played to a 1-1 draw. Manitowoc’s goal came 45 seconds into the match, courtesy of Grant Graf. Pulaski was able to equalize in the 45th minute with a goal off a corner kick from Hudson Schultz. Donovan Holderness got the assist. Neither team was able to find a winner. Mitchell Drescher made 13 saves in goal for Manitowoc (3-12-2, 2-3-2). Josh Roth and Jonah Drevs each played a half in goal for Pulaski (12-3-3, 3-3-1). West De Pere 2, Shawano 1 The Hawks dropped a 2-1 Bay Conference game to league-leading West De Pere. Shawano is 5-3 in conference and 11-5 overall. The regular season is scheduled to end with contests at Green Bay East on Oct. 15 and a home game against Marinette on Oct. 17.
