Menominee notches pair of BABA wins

East/West Division June 15 Crandon 3, Marion 1 Matt Schallhorn had two hits to help lead the Kentucks over the Meisters. Nick Schoen, Jake Westphal, Hayden Miller and Kaleb Roth had a hit for Marion. Curtis Paschen picked up the win, and Joe Weyenberg took the loss. Tigerton 9, Shawano 5 Jayden Sivertson and Tyler Steinbach led Tigerton with three and two hits, respectively, as Patrick Bailey got the win on the mound. Robert Zhukosee had two of Shawano’s hits, while Kaiden Ihrke and Kris Krause each added a double. Jacob Springborn took the loss for Shawano. Gresham 13, Tilleda 3 (7 inn.) Jerzy Brocker, Trayvon Granquist and Carter Weisnicht each had two hits in the Gophers’ win. Aiden Brei had two hits for Tilleda. Paul Murphy picked up the win, and Zach Fehrman took the loss. Neopit 6, Caroline 3 Bob Peters and Jamison Beasaw had two hits for the Chiefs, and winning pitcher Walker Miller added a home run in a win over the Cougars. Klay Barkow led Caroline with two hits and also took the loss on the mound. Menominee 8, Leopolis 2 Jordan Johnson picked up the win on the mound as the Indians completed a sweep of a pair of weekend games. Pete Bruette led Menominee with three hits, while Mitchell VandeWalle, George Bruette and Eli Zablocki added two each. Jaden Stuhr had three hits to lead Leopolis at the plate, and Ryan Malueg took the loss. Little Falls 17, Clintonville 7 Clintonville came up with seven runs, but still came up 10 short against the Loggers. Kyle Finger had three hits and drove in three runs to lead Little Falls at the plate. Parker Gullixon added a pair of doubles, and Drew Radies and Spencer Strebe also drove in three runs each. Hunter Vollmer had three hits for the A’s, while Colton Kluth added two hits and Brock Smejkal hit a home run and drove in a pair of runs. Carter Kurki picked up the win on the mound, and Jaden Doornink took the loss. June 13 Menominee 9, Crandon 6 The Indians defeated the Kentucks under the lights in Keshena. No other details were available. North Division June 15 Birnamwood 18, Hatley 3 The Kings headed to Hatley and returned home with a 15-run win over the Braves. Zander Barke led Birnamwood with four hits, while Owen Dickman and Tommy Gagnon added three each, and Conner Meverden and Evan Meverden had two. Nick Cotter and Tanner Kocher led the Braves with three and two hits, respectively. Mason Meverden picked up the win and Kocher took the loss. Eland 15, Aniwa 7 (10 inn.) Tyler Nelson and Jacob Ligenza each had four of Eland’s 21 hits, while Charlie Woida, Ryan Richter, Nicholas Barnes, Shane Larson, Jarod Richter and Joe Buss added two each. Chris Weisman hit a game-tying two-run home run with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning, but the Orioles still came up short. Weisman and Gavin Steppert led Aniwa with three hits each. Dylan Trigg picked up the win on the mound, and Roman Maguire took the loss. June 13 Wittenberg’s home game against Elderon was rained out. South-Central Division June 15 No games were scheduled. June 13 Scandinavia 6, Weymont 0 Cyle Zblewski struck out 13 batters and held the White Bass scoreless while picking up the complete-game win. Jesse Dickert had two hits for the Vikings, while Brock Wilde, Trevor Wetzel and Wyatt Wetzel had a hit for Weymont.
