On Nov. 12, 2014, Janet Diane Sleeter, of Suring, formerly of La Verne, California, earned her angel wings after a hard-fought battle with cancer. She passed peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her family and closest friends.
Janet was born on Nov. 15, 1979, in San Gabriel, California.
She is survived by her loving parents, Rod and Dianna Sleeter; her sister, Kerry Sleeter; and her pampered pet, Nugget; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside services were held at Hickory Cemetery on Friday, Nov. 14, at 11 a.m.
Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring assisted the family.
