Edna Lang

Edna Lang, 98, of Peshtigo, formerly of Suring, passed away in Marinette on Nov. 14, 2014, at Sun Valley Home surrounded by her family. She was born in Pound on March 3, 1916, to the late Henry and Lena Berth. Edna married John Lang on March 2, 1940, and she was a homemaker all her life. Edna was a member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Suring and later joined the Grover Community Church in Grover. Survivors include three daughters, Carol Herzog, of Knoxville, Tennessee, Shirley Lang, of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Laura Strnad, of Peshtigo; two sons, Robert (Terri) Lang, of Green Bay, and Frank (Barbara) Lang, of Marysville, California; six grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, on Oct. 5, 1990, and two brothers, Edgar Berth and Clarence Berth. Visitation will be held at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring on Wednesday, Nov. 19, from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Rod Efta officiating.
