Blackbird Boutique opens in Oconto

Amanda Derry, the owner of Blackbird Boutique, 1102 Main St., Oconto, officially opened her doors to the public March 15. The boutique, which was formerly known as BeYoutiful Boutique, has undergone a transformation, both in name and in spirit. “The name Blackbird Boutique is a special tribute to my late mother, who loved watching blackbirds and crows outside her window,” Derry said. “The four birds in our logo represent my four children. This shop is dedicated to them and to my mother, whose memory I hold close.” Blackbird Boutique is designed to offer more than just clothing; Derry said it’s a place to feel a connection to the community and to experience a thoughtfully curated selection of fashion and accessories. “It’s not just about the clothes,” Derry said. “It’s about creating a space where people can feel welcome, find unique pieces and take part in the growth of our wonderful town.” Hours are 4:30-7 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays.
