The Wildcats remain undefeated at 11-0 after a 64-41 win over Peshtigo in nonconference action.

Ella Thomson and Alisa Finger each recorded a double-double. Ella Thomson scored 16 points and had 16 rebounds. Finger scored 13 points with 10 rebounds.

Madilyn Thomson contributed 14 points and nine rebounds.

Bonduel boys sit atop conference after beating W-B

Bonduel 67, Wittenberg-Birnamwood 37

Quinn Wesenberg scored 19 points and Ryan Westrich had 18 as Bonduel’s boys basketball team rolled over Wittenberg-Birnamwood 67-37.

Griffin Uelmen chipped in nine points for Bonduel.

The Bears led 35-12 at halftime and posted a 32-25 second half score.

Perfect season continues for Ice Bears

It was another win and another shutout for the Bay Area Ice Bears girls hockey team when they defeated the Fox Cities Stars 4-0.

The Ice Bears are now 13-0 overall and 6-0 in the Eastern Shores Conference. The Stars are 6-4 overall and 1-4 in the conference.

Shawano, Antigo hockey teams each beat Spooner

Antigo 4, Spooner 1

Antigo improved to 8-3 overall with a 4-1 nonconference win over Spooner.

Billy Portman scored a hat trick for the Red Robins. He started the scoring with a goal at 8:36 in the first period with an assist from Richie Vera.

In the second period, Liam Burt assisted Portman at 4:37. Spooner scored its goal near the end of the period to make it 2-1.

Tigerton boys defeat Newman Catholic

Laona/Wabeno 58, Gillett 17

Eight players from Laona/Wabeno scored in the Rebels’ 58-17 win over Gillett’s boys basketball team.

Brandon Slatky led the six Tigers who scored with four points.

Lena girls run over Oneida Nation

Lena 62, Oneida Nation 20

Lena freshman Ella Thomson scored 15 points in the girls 62-20 trouncing of Oneida Nation.

The Wildcats dominated the Thunderhawks, leading 40-10 at the half and then outscoring their hosts 22-10 in the second half.

Freshman Alisa Finger added another 12 points for Lena, and Carla Caballero-Morante contributed another 10.
