In 1972, he took over his dad’s farm. After Warren sold the dairy herd, he still was involved in farming, raising beef and crops up until he had a stroke in October. He enjoyed visiting with friends, playing cards and working in the woods. Warren was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Leopolis and will be sadly missed by his family, relative and numerous friends. Warren is survived by his wife, Judy; son, Tim Sousek; mother-in-law, Lucille Schewe, of Caroline; brother-in-law, Ron (Ruth) Schewe, of Sherwood; and many cousins and friends. Besides his parents, Warren was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Sousek, and father-in-law, Herb Schewe. Private family services were held for Warren on April 28, 2015, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Lay Pastor Lois Graper officiating.
